The man is a thief, but there’s nothing to steal here. He’s lowering his totally bogus $ amount that he supposedly saved the government based on contract and lease cancellations.

Every single contract (~10) that I know very specific details about that was DOGE-cancelled has a problematic “savings” amount on the doge.gov website. Every one is wrong. That’s just the 10 I know about where I have privileged information. There’s currently more than 8000 listed. I suspect most of those have similar issues with the reported “savings” amount.

This is straight accounting that they are botching.

Nevermind that the $ savings is bogus even if the accounting was accurate. Because these cancellations are costing the US taxpayer big-time in the long run.

No way, this is protest worthy.

The plan allegedly has this going from VA to DC, so a bridge crossing and two jurisdictions are involved. Arlington, VA and DC. So that’s the first protest. Make sure Arlington and DC know they cannot issue permits or support this in any way. Likely would involve crossing Memorial Bridge or 14th.

A complex route with a bridge crossing is a second. Would be a shame if something happened there to prevent movement…

Finally, twin 12v truck horns are $22 at Harbor Freight, a 100 pack of ear plugs for you and your neighbors are $15, and sealed 12v batteries can be had for about $100. If a 1,000 people are willing to pony up less than $150, it will shut this thing down completely. Would require water cannons or tear gas to restore it. Which might be even more difficult to deploy if Arl and DC cops aren’t there to support it (see #1).

That’s okay. Trump wants us buying US-made. A 2014 Equinox with 178,000 miles, no history of oil changes, yellowed headlights, permanent nicotine-stained interior, and missing fenders is basically the same thing as a 2025 Land Rover. The rich will adapt to these tarrifs.

Could be retractable? Ie, only used during high angle of attack/landing/takeoff. In stealth cruise or normal maneuvering, maybe they retract.

Also, the stock really needs to fall much further. Bubble is still popping and there’s a long way to go to come back to anything remotely reasonable.

Market cap is still (even with recent losses) bigger than GM plus Ford plus Disney plus Delta Airlines plus Northrop Grumman plus Nike plus Verizon plus CSX Rail.

Price to earnings is 113. And that’s with dubious and outdated earnings information.

Absolute insanity. Sell whatever you have now while you can.
