You can totally do it with the GPL as well, as long as you own 100% od the copyright. Of you accept a patch, and don’t get copyright attribution… You’re stuck with the GPL forever.

Actually, no. e/OS includes MicroG, so even most app requiring Google services work just fine. What really doesnt’t work is Casting videos to a Chromecast, and anything requiting Play Integrity certification like Revolut.

But by that standard, Windows isn’t ready either…

Do you care to elaborate? If I had to write a list of reasons why Linux might not be ready for your average cubicle… Stability wouldn’t be one of them.

I understand that Brave is a very good browser, from a technical standpoint, but it just feels annoying. For one, the constant crypto advertisement is a real turn off.

Firefox is also the only real mobile browser that lets me have extensions, so I can use stuff like uBlock or BypassPaywall.

I can decide to not use Google (I have indeed stopped), but it becomes harder to avoid all websites that run google stuff.

Resistance is obviously not futile (or Google wouldn’t be doing this). But resistance will have to update.

In some parts of Italy they use the name Bologna to refer to the mortadella (e.g. “un’etto di Bologna”), in the same way they’d use Parma or San Daniele for the respective hams. It makes me cringe a little when they do, not gonna lie.
