Isn’t this from The Cage? They’ve had 60+ years. I doubt it’s a high priority.
My daily driver is a 10yo Dell business laptop. Before that I ran a similarly aged Lenovo. I run mint.
In my experience, the amount of ram and an SSD are the biggest contributors to how good the performance feels. Running mint on 4G is possible, but performance is comprised. 8G is perfectly fine most of the time. 16G (my current setup) is peachy keen. I’m astounded what I can do in blender on a 10yo machine.
That said, if you can afford one (and they operate in your country - they don’t here), then grab a framework, like others have said. If that’s not an option, then add some ram and an SSD.
My 2c.
The olive oil might be causing it to become too doughy. You don’t need it (or the sugar). Both are for taste and texture. You’ll likely need to fiddle with the water if you lose the oil.
I’d also recommend measuring by weight and not volume. It’s more accurate. Buy yourself some cheap kitchen scales.

Nextcloud? I was looking for a friend and there was a German company that was offering 1TB for €5. The friend wanted something in Germany, but I suspect you can find similar deals elsewhere.
You can read most of The Guardian without JavaScript.
If only it worked on current generation hardware other than pixel and, iirc, fairphone.
In Singapore, chicken eggs come in packs of 6, 10, 12 (always labelled as having two bonus eggs: 10 + 2), 15, and 30. Duck eggs come in packs of 6. Quail eggs come in cans (NFI how many they include).
Just imagine if one of these ‘guided by God’ people ever managed to attain the Prime Ministership. Then we’d be in real trouble.
Babylon 5: Into the Fire. Killed just months before release after a corporate restructure. The closest we got was some Freespace mods.
