As they’re going on a grand adventure about many star systems, I think “Galaxy Quest” is a more apt name.
they should name it after someone who had an early contribution to flight based travel.
Name it The Wilbur!
When you take a boat to go find land, you don’t call it a dirt voyage.
Maybe but they do travel to other star systems frequently. From our perspective trapped on Earth they do travel to the stars. Maybe that’s why they call it Star Trek.
