The federal government under Joe Biden prosecuted fewer corporate crime cases than at any point in the last 30 years. Now the Trump administration is set to drop or pause more than 100 enforcement actions against corporate misconduct.

Bush normalized invading other countries. Obama normalized mercenaries, drone murders and “migrant holding facilities”. Trump normalized wanton state cruelty using these tools. Biden normalized supporting Gazan genocide and sending riot cop to beat down dissenters. Now Trump 2 is building on those powers and practices to dissappear people into camps.

The history of presidential power is just another part of the history of class warfare and empire. These actions, from dem to repub and back again make no sense if you look at them as aberrations or coincidences, or think for five seconds about the excuses used to justify them. But they make perfect sense if you view them as a series of consistently increasing escalations against the threat of liberation movements at home and abroad.

It literally is. Biden’s ego kept him in the race far longer than he should have been, and Harris was kept in the shadows through his presidency to prevent her comparative youth from highlighting his deterioration. Biden and those who supported his insane run are absolutely responsible for every bad thing Trump does.

Doesn’t dropping or pausing more than 100 suggest more activity under Biden than the 80 prosecuted, since the Trump crew certainly didn’t initiate them?

Not really. Criminal prosecutions are a very small subset of enforcement actions. That doesn’t make this post reasonable, but your logic doesn’t check out either.

Chamberlain did know what he was doing; he was buying time for Britain to rearm so they could put up a fight with the Germans. Biden not so much.
