91·4 days agoDon’t most of the areas that end up hosting the Olympics end up spending more money than they bring in? I say do it. There needs to be real economic loss before the American people learn their lesson. I also say that as an American.
On the one hand I’m glad I no longer live in Florida. FEMA was always getting denied by the governor and the policies are terrible.
On the other hand I now live in Oregon and love it. Some policies have even protected us. But if the big earthquake ever hits and there’s no FEMA for the state, it will become destitute.
Excuse me. Who are you to talk down to a glass of water like that. Can’t you just mind your own business and let the glass be optimistic.

Today’s “AI” is just a buzz word for Machine learning code. ML has been around for a few decades and has been used in predictive analytics for those same decades.
A machine that automates a job in a factory does one thing and never changes from that. It doesn’t learn and doesn’t make adjustments. When talking about “AI” no one is talking about the robot arm in a factory that does 5 total movements and repeats endlessly.
AI also isn’t close to replacing other industries. They are both wrong.
