Sorry I didn’t realize that was a satirical news site. He hasn’t acutely dressed up in a KKK uniform.

The reason I was so easily convinced is because pewdiepie has a history of antisemitic comments (not anti-israeli, real antisemitism) pro nazi “jokes” shout outs to nazi youtube channels, and using the “N word”.

It would have become immediately obvious if you’d actually bothered to spend 1 minute reading the link you’d shared.

I’ve admitted my error. So is your problem really with my mistake? or are you trying to distract from the fact that pewdiepie is a a racist who should be de platformed? Because one of those is passively supporting a white supremacist and the other is actively trying to promote a white supremacists.

You are part of the pro fascist movement if you spread disinformation, especially on political takes. No matter the side.

Linking a story and then apologizing when you realize it was satire that mildly exaggerated the truth is pro fascist disinformation? That is probably one of the dumbest things I have heard this week.

Fascists thrive on a fragmented information space. By not verifying your sources, you participate to this fragmentation and therefore the dilution of truth in the sea of lies.

You even use the same line of defense as the trump fans :" I didn’t know it was a joke and immigrants don’t eat pets."

So you are standing up for a racist… to own the magas?

Fascists love to make make false equivalencies.

The difference between misremembering a satirical exaggeration of how extremely racist a proven racist is, is not the same as making up blood libel against immigrants.

See how easy this game is?

Just because fascists can use misinformation does not mean that every piece of incorrect information is a the act of a fascist.

If someone says “a streamer who was canceled after promoting neo-nazi content and saying racist stuff on multiple occasions belongs in a hole made famous by the fact it was used to dispose of the bodies of fascists (not all of them dead)” I think it is safe to assume that person disapproves of fascists. Calling such a person a fascist seems rather ignorant.

Wasn’t a false equivalence. You are twisting shit around to defend yourself in quite a telling way .

Have a great day, and get of screens for a while, it’ll do you good.

Yes, I do have a problem with braindead retards who mindlessly recycle fake news that fits their narrative instead of taking a minute out of their life to actually read the shit they are sharing. You guys shit up the online discourse for everyone else, it’s this exact kind of moronic behaviour that makes social media such a chore these days. If you can’t be bothered to put the minimum amount of effort in, please just stay off the internet.

The most concerning thing is you seem to think it’s some kind of minor error that you can instantly move on from, but in reality the only way you make this kind of insanely stupid mistake is if you have something fundamentally wrong with your approach to sourcing information. Instead of trying to baselessly claim I’m a white supremacist for calling you out, maybe switch off the screen and do some thinking about why the fuck you throught an obviously satirical article was a genuine event that occurred in real life.

Throwing around ablist slurs eh? You and pewdiepie are cut from the same cloth.

This isn’t about my misremembering a really good satire bit as fact because it was so close to true. If it was about that you’d accept my appology and my admission that I was mistaken.

This is about you wanting to make it about anything but the fact that he is a racist who lures children into consuming neo-nazi content.

At press time, PewDiePie was once again under fire for an incident in a new PUBG stream where, after getting run over by a vehicle, he accidentally left his house, booked a flight to Kentucky, stayed in a hotel for three days, and joined a Civil War reenactment fighting as a Confederate soldier.

              ???

Keep on going. The more you say “this is about stopping the spread of misinformation” and ignoring the fact that pewdiepie is a racist who inspired a literal nazi mass murderer you are just showing your true colors.
