Exactly. Racism would be “China’s government is bad, therefore my Chinese neighbor deserves to be ejected from my country.” That sort of logic is not in short supply in my neck of the woods.
Criticizing a government is okay. Using that as justification to persecute unrelated people is not okay.
It’s just so people can “know” that it was removed due to racism and thus, a just reason. A way to cover their ass.
