Yes, there’s nothing that’s going to do more to stop Trump than attacking the Liberals.

By your logic, none of the partisans who were fighting the Nazis and Imperial Japan should have taken any aid from the racist USA and England.

    No compromise, ever.

Centrist liberalism is inherently incapable of stopping fascism, so literally yes.

No one said anything about compromise or ideological purity; that’s literally not the problem here.

Liberalism literally brought us fascism but the libs will never ever understand how destroying material conditions for regular people during the 2008 bailout of the banks brought us here.

Throughout the pre and post-election Democrat collaborationism debacle I’ve come to the conclusion that Americans don’t deserve to be saved from themselves partially because of this nonsense (easy decision to make when I don’t live there, I know). Like we all know the definition of insanity right? Why are y’all repeating the same things that got you in this mess in the first place?

        FDR has entered the chat.

Please explain to me, in detail, how the USA providing weapons to the USSR and partisans didn’t do anything at all to stop the Nazis.

Remember to cite all your sources.

Setting aside the problem of how you’re ignoring the obvious implied “at home” in the sentence, FDR is a centrist liberal? Fucking FDR? Like, this FDR?

          FDR has entered the chat.

Yes, FDR has entered the chat as an example of what a leader needs to do to fight fascism.

Okay you are not engaging with my point; leave the strawmanning to the conservatives.

But if you can like FDR who imprisoned people for having the wrong family, maybe you can stop screaming at Liberals today.

This is just a non-sequitur. Like what point are you even trying to make?

The point where you seem to be able to ignore that FDR, for all his good qualities, did some pretty bad things too.

If you can ignore FDR’s imprisoning Japanese - Americans, you can ignore the Dems faults, too.

Also, a ‘strawman argument’ is when I exaggerate your position. I didn’t exaggerate what you said, I pointed out the fact that you seem to like some of FDR’s policies while ignoring others.

So FDR for all his faults didn’t fund a genocide, but that aside that’s straight up not what I’m talking about. I’m not saying the Dems’ faults are too big to ignore; I’m saying that, being liberal centrists, they can’t stop fascism as we’ve seen these past 9 years. This isn’t a moral judgement; it’s a statement of fact that you’re not engaging with.

Now there’s a bigger genocide in Gaza and a genocide in Ukraine and a concentration camp for immigrants in Gitmo.

Going after Biden really did the world a lot of good, didn’t it?
