Summary
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth brought his wife, Jennifer Hegseth, to at least two high-level foreign meetings where sensitive information was discussed, according to The Wall Street Journal.
One meeting included U.K. Defense Secretary John Healey, and another took place at a NATO summit in Brussels.
Defense officials called her presence unusual, as attendees typically hold security clearances.
The Pentagon did not confirm whether Jennifer Hegseth has a clearance. Her involvement raises security concerns, given the classified nature of the discussions.
“We all do it, we all go home and tell our wives about our day at work, this is… look its basically the same thing… it’s completely normal behavior and the radical lunatic left wants to act like sharing national security secrets with family members at the dinner table is tantamount to treason is just like… like c’mon…”
What an idiotic and dangerous thing for him to say.
Even doctors have HIPAA rules. You can’t go home and tell your spouse about your patient’s name and treatment.
Acting flippant about sharing national security secrets with his spouse is egregiously dangerous for national security.
He didn’t say this. I’m dunking on their predictability and craven natures. Guess I wasn’t too far off the mark.
Clear indication they never went through the SF-86 process and had their clearance ‘gifted’ to them.
Lock him up
And this is why you dont have a tv host be the head of defense.
I have a comedy actor as a president. And know what? He isn’t the worst president we had.
Comedy is a good trainer for dealing with people of all types, and for thinking on your feet. Maybe it should be a requirement for leaders.
Please no :)
I would prefer basic logic knowledge as a requirement.
We tried that in the US initially, but it grew out of favor. Cult of personality won.
Come on, Jack black would be an awesome president
everything that happens in Ukraine happens everywhere else 5-15 years later. i don’t know who our comedian president to clean up after our russian puppet president is yet, but my front runners are Bill Burr, Jon Stewart, and Josh Johnson
Jon Stewart would be too perfect for this timeline, but I could picture a Bill Burr presidency.
Would go better than this, actually. He’d be incompetent but he’d know that and I think he’d at least attempt to surround himself with competence.
Stewart/Burr 28
I think you can throw Colbert on that list.
Or be president
He needed her to recount what was said once he sobered up.
Bold of you to assume he over ends up fully sober and doesn’t just take “corrective series” first thing next morning to make the hangover and withdrawal go away.
🎶 You can be my Yoko Ono 🎶
He really looks like the villain from some kid’s movie.
He looks like the bad guy in a movie where the hero is a dog
