You can overload acronyms with dozens of different meanings.
But still, IC is common as individual contributor. Case in point: Microsoft uses it as a filter on their career site. Not exactly a small company…
IC is a common term used for non-manager type roles.

She had access to Biden war chest on day one, which was critical.
She completely wasted her opportunity
AOC talks a big game, but I’m not personally convinced she follows through.
Case in point, this situation. There should have been more democrats doing the same thing.

Canada is 40 million people, New York is 20 million. That kind of influx would be insane to manage. And that’s just one state…
I can only think of east/west Germany as the closes parallel and they are still merging the halves.
0·2 months agoI’m honestly surprised the MIC would let things deteriorate this much for the US defense industry. The next 15 years will be really bad for them, especially if European based companies can supplant their contracts other globally
Purely from a business perspective, the MIC must like the war in Ukraine and I would have thought their united lobbying efforts would be enough to save Ukraine from 0 US aid…

AI generated code is usually boilerplate and tools like copilot, cursor, etc are huge productivity uplifts.
Like them or not, they are here to stay. A lot of code written by developers isn’t unique or novel.
AI generated code is useful.
I strongly dislike AI slop and I hate ai being shoved everywhere, but I’m also a realist. I use AI code everyday in my job because my job doesn’t pay me to have principaled stands, they pay me to deliver features.
They already worked there.
