Idk, most don’t seem to like the direction Cover is going towards and that’s fine. We don’t know anything else like we do with Nijisanji, so sweeping statements like:

Isn’t really something you can say just based on that. We know the company is shifting direction, and that usually results in things like this. Happens with regular companies too.

I feel like if there was anything like Nijisanji going on, we’d know.

Yeah, 10,000 years ago. Is it really restoring when the ecosystem has been functioning for such a long period without it? Wouldn’t it sooner disrupt it?

If you tax them the same as gasoline, sure. In the Netherlands, there are so many huge EVs, and I think that’s partially because all EVs, large or small, weren’t taxed. We made a distinction between gasoline and diesel for tax, no reason we can’t do that with EVs.

Interesting! How does it sort though? To take my anime community as an example, the lemmy.ml one has more subscribers, but ani.social has more posts and comments.

That sounds very finnicky, especially considering that there are similar communities across different instances. For example, there’s an anime community on lemmy.ml, but also ani.social. The former is pretty dead, but the latter is pretty active. If it were to subscribe you to the one on lemmy.ml, because that’s the bigger instance, that might not result in the best experience.

Centraal is er wellicht niet iets, maar als ik soms door F-Droid scroll, kom ik regelmatig apps tegen voor reisinformatie van openbaar vervoer. Is het dan gedeeltelijk geen onwil vanuit bijv NS International om niet hetzelfde te doen als die apps?

Nouja, met de coalitie partijen PVV, NSC en BBB tegen hoeft maar een relatief klein deel van de kamer tegen te zijn. Is idd geen kabinet, maar zegt er wel wat over.

Omdat ik genoeg goed werkende jack koptelefoons heb, de poort graag vrij hou voor laden en andere apparaten heb die gewoon 3.5mm gebruiken. Ik wil niet specifiek voor een mobiel USB-C headphones kopen (naast dat dat een stuk beperktere aanbod heeft).
