Was gonna ask about the digits on the back but I figured it out: 707
Pronouns: it/its, she/her, or fae/faer. It refers to itself in third person. That’s just how it be.

At this point there’s really no need to anyway. Plenty of works nowadays that capture the spirit of the sort of cosmic horror he wrote about without the atrocious xenophobia, or at least touch on the topic in ways that deconstruct and/or scrutinize those views in a much healthier and compelling way.
The anecdote is especially funny to me because fog machines are essentially giant vapes, down to using similar ingredients, so it stands to reason that folks wouldn’t care much in that scenario. Agreed wholeheartedly all around.
As someone who does vape, I can tell you for a fact it does leave a residue. It takes a LONG time to build up, and even then it’s only really noticeable on transparent things like glass, but it’s a pain to clean off without specific cleaners. Otherwise it looks perpetually smeared. Best to avoid it so the employees don’t have to guess why their windows won’t clean right.
Yikes.
They literally were better. They were not perfect. They weren’t even good in a lot of cases. But they were better for these marginalized folks.
To clarify for others, as I have no interest in doing this myself, but if people feel like sharing, are they allowed to do so provided they censor the pictire/remove it entirely from a screenshot? Not sure why someone would, but I figure it doesn’t hurt to ask.
I never really put two and two together but yeah. They’re just not as offensively awful. That’s crazy!
I thought I was the only one omg. The closest thing I could find is the mutation that makes cilantro taste like soap, but that tastes fine to me.
To whoever likes this sort of fantastical speculative artistry, one of the authors C.M. Koseman also wrote and illustrated All Tomorrow’s, which is a similarly speculative view of humanity from the fictional perspective of a paleontologist in the unfathomably far future, after humanity spread to the stars and experienced an apocalypse that leads us down countless evolutionary paths. Content warning: Body horror, cosmic horror, but presented in an academic way.
Huh? The meme is suggesting that it isn’t a hierachy or tiered list but physical proximity attracting th arrows from the other stick figures. Did anyone read the picture??
Fair and principled.
Most of us have at least seven, not counting pores.
Wait until they learn about the urethra… And nostrils… And ears… And the millions of pores on our skin…
Okay but what is good engagement against “follow the science” aside from “I literally DO the science”? Dr. McCreight offered a point and was met with “nuh uh” so at that point it can hardly be called an argument or debate. Do those fallacies honestly matter at that point when one refuses to engage with tangible points of discussion?
Nazi Germany didn’t but Germany did and still does.
This got me good lmao
