“uh oh!”
“uh oh!”
Everyone in the background looks so happy to be there!
Exactly this. My whole life I’ve been told that executives deserve their massive compensation because of all the high risk decisions they make. But if they ever get called out they take no responsibility. It’s infuriating!
Typical of the US to threaten war over the results of a democratic election, but this has never been directed at Canada. Fuck Shapiro, fuck Smith, and fuck anyone who still votes conservative.
Tea. Earl Grey. SSSSSMOKIN!
National unity crisis my ass. She’s fucking delusional.
Wouldn’t it be funny if a bunch of Alberta ridings turned red?
I have several web services built in Rust, along with CLI tools, and a desktop GUI app. I’ve also player with a little bit of Rust in an embedded context and started on a phone app. Not many languages can boast a similar development experience across such diverse use cases, so universal doesn’t seem like much hyperbole.
The U.S. has halted intelligence altogether.
Then some jerk runs rustfmt and ruins all your hard work!
I doubt we will and I suspect it was a symbolic gesture from us to begin with.
Does anyone know if any money was actually spent?
Amazing! Thanks for that. I didn’t know this was actually available to play with.
Joining a defense initiative with someone who wants to take us over sounds like a bad idea.
But, if it was Europe asking, maybe.
Good. The while thing felt like a scam to begin with.
We can direct all we want and it won’t do anything. Frankly, the voters in the USA made it clear they’re not interested in working together with anyone. Trump supporters have been told for at least a decade how terrible he is, but they were more interested in listening to fox news. A whole group of absentee voters chose not to vote Harris over some vague ideas around Palestine, despite being told Trump would make it worse. Then there’s everyone else who couldn’t get off their ass to vote despite being told this was existential.
My heart does go out to the good people who did vote and are trying to change things. I’m on your side and I wish you well. But I’m sorry to say that there are a lot of people who deserve the shit that’s coming. I’m tired of trying to “work together” through the first trump administration, through COVID, through the trucker convoy, through all the free speech bullshit, through all the reduction in women’s rights and healthcare, through the reduction in trans rights, etc. Nazi punks fuck off!
Of course he does. He’s never had a real job.
Why should Canadians pay to stop something that isn’t happening? Didn’t Lil PP just suggest Canada send the military to the border? So Canadian citizens are supposed to pay for the Canadian military to go to the Canadian border to harass Canadian citizens? Fuck that!
If Trump really thinks there’s a problem he can address it on his side of the border.
I wish I could upvote this 1000x
In this context the use of “they” is just proper English though. I can’t fault someone who speaks a gendered language from using gendered pronouns as is proper in that language, but the use of “they” in English is correct and hardly political or exclusive. Every language is going to have rules that may be strange to non-native speakers, but any “confusion” is easily remedied by explaining that’s just how the language works. I find that’s also part of the fun of learning another language. I especially love trying to mix the rules of one language into another to see how silly it sounds. :)
This is something that bugs me too. Its not completely broken but there are a lot of small issues assuming you can even get the game to run at all
He’s right. I’m committed to getting paid and doing what I want.
