They could stand up now. They could offer some resistance.

Democrats never lifted a finger for me. Every time I hear them doing something it’s somehow not helping me again. My wages have stagnated while their donors got richer. Obama bailed out companies that closed production anyway. Dems handled this election so poorly it’s barely believable. I genuinely don’t know if they’re actually opposition. They seem like they’re on the same team as the other guys from where I’m sitting.

No, they absolutely still would. The amount of people means less than nothing. That is absolutely on the table with them.

This is verifiable stuff. Lol. You clowns will believe whatever makes you feel better about yourself without any regard for reality.

That is literally not how it works with people. They will feel like they did their job and move on. They will do this instead of actually helping. There isn’t any escalation. There’s a week (not long enough) hit on specific companies and other “days”.

You’re not getting “good”. A one day pause is not an effective strategy in any sense. It’s slacktivism. It’ll placate people who would have otherwise taken actual action.

It won’t work because people are just going to stock up the day before and binge the day after. No one is going to feel anything.

It’s like they’re trying to force only two options- Either Democrats are beyond reproach and you have to vote for them, or you hate democracy. I’m not allowed to be critical of Dems and have voted for them. I’m not allowed to call them complicit or call out their lack of resistance.

I’m going to be very critical of Dems and I’m going to keep a close eye out for any feasible alternatives. I’m hard out if they put AOC up.
