2·1 year agoI watched this video a few years ago. You can tell its age, but I found it very enlighting. In it a lawyer explains why you should never talk to the police even if you’re innocent:

In Germany we ask apprentices to fetch a spare bubble for the spirit level.
I have never, ever had an HDMI cord, or a VGA cord for that matter, disconnect unintentionally. I haven’t turned those screws in years.

0·2 years agoI’ll take LibreOffice Writer over MS Word anytime. All that ‘I know better than you,’ ‘You wanted to copy the space, too, right? Even though you stopped marking before it,’ can kiss my ass.
But sugar dissolves in cold water. It just takes a bit longer. This is 9th grade chemistry. At 20°C 203.9g sugar are soluble per 100ml of water.
[Edit: Sorry, for the Americans here: At 68°F, 1 cup of sugar is soluble in 21/50 cups of water.]

After watching Lower Decks for 3 seasons and going back to TOS, I’m thinking about watching some of the middle entries. What are some of the meaningful differences between them. In other words: What should I watch?
