I review flashlights and other gear at https://zakreviews.com
I don’t think a direct comparison is really appropriate. The MH12 Pro has a straight body and fits reasonably comfortably in a pants pocket. The other two have considerably larger heads and most people won’t carry them that way.
If you can only have one, I think the L16 is a better choice than either of those Nitecores.
Yes, this one has 519As. It also offers the Luxeon HL4X and Luminus SFT25R.
That seems to be what the advertised specs say, but what I’m seeing in reviews is that the MH25 Pro comes up well short of its advertised output at power-on and throttles before the 30 seconds used for output measurement in the FL1 standard. It has a little more throw than the Acebeam, but only for about 25 seconds.
I did review the MH12 Pro and had similar results; it throttles very early, gets hot fast, and doesn’t perform as advertised. That one didn’t have close competitors for lots of throw in that diameter when it came out, but the MH25 Pro has several, and does not stand out among them.
No it isn’t. It’s more similar to the Opple Light Master in that it measures only a handful of wavelengths while the i1Pro has a resolution of 10nm across the whole visual spectrum (and a little outside it).
@tankplanker the big Convoys and the Noctigon M44 are good options with better efficiency.
I want to congratulate Acebeam for being the first manufacturer to earn two five-star ratings from me, the other being the E75. Lights really have to stand out from the rest of the market for me to call them outstanding.
@Onomatopoeia @flashlight There are plenty of Li-ion lights with similar operation. The classic dual-switch light where one switch is on/off and the other changes brightness is probably the easiest for people to figure out.
@solrize It’s easy, and the pocket clip can remain installed as long as it’s oriented toward the front of the mount.
Not many changes this time around.
NU25UL becomes NU25 MCT UL
Removed Catapult Pro (price increased)
Added DW3AA
@solrize I would definitely enjoy it more with Anduril. That’s not to everyone’s taste of course, but I think manufacturers would do well to base their simple UIs on the FSM codebase for its otherwise mature feature set (thermal management and such).
More changes:
Replaced Sofirn IF22A with Wurkkos TD01C. The regulated buck driver is much more efficient and doesn’t dim as the battery drains in medium modes. It also has more throw.
Added Zebralight SC700d HI.
Re-added Reylight Pineapple Mini.
Added Skilhunt EC200S Mini.
Changelog:
Wurkkos FC11 replaced with FC11C
Acebeam E70 Mini removed
Skilhunt EC200 and EC200S added
Sofirn SP40A removed
Acebeam L35 updated to 2.0

Convoy C8+ updated
Convoy M21F replaces M21C

@Showroom7561 @flashlight There have been Olight models on this list before. There aren’t any currently due to the company’s heavy use of proprietary batteries. Their LED selections in many models also leave something to be desired.
Here’s what’s new:
* Skilhunt M150 and M200 are now v4
* BLF SP36 removed (not readily available)
* Skilhunt EK1 removed (not readily available)
* Added Skilhunt EC150
* Added Loop Gear SK05 Pro
* Added Acebeam X20-R
