The fediverse is fundamentally more resistant to that type of shit tho, cuz mods and even instance owners can’t piss off too many users without the community migrating elsewhere. The split in the memes community between .ml and .world is a perfect example
There are admins/mods on the fediverse, even on Lemmy specifically, who do monitor voting actions and may respond with punitive actions such as bans.
