speaking of which, he has such a cool name. both first and last.

when people chanted his name before his victory speech it was like a scene from a movie. kudos to Tish James for hyping people up like crazy. played like a transcript:

“They said he doesn’t have the right name!”

    BOOOO

“Well now they all know his goddamn name!”

    crowd erupts, mics explode

    MAM-DA-NI! MAM-DA-NI!

    “what’s his name?”

    MAM-DA-NI!

    “what’s his name?”

    MAM-DA-NI!

    “what’s his name?”

    MAM-DA-NI!

    … repeat

Trump wrecked the Republican Party that turned out great for them. I have been waiting for somebody to wreck this party.

FR and given Republican attraction to strong and religious male leaders, Mamdani might actually sweep the generals.

If ZOHRAN THE DESTROYER actually destroys the GOP, I won’t complain. If he needs to stomp the current DEMs into the ground for that, well, that is a sacrifice I’m willing to make.

I would celebrate if he destroys the DNC as well. Burn it all down and start from scratch.

Nah, we just need a purge. Mumdani is the new spiritual leader of the party, the rank and file are signalling a pivot, and the leadership are some of the most hated people in America

I think the biggest threat is someone like Gabe Newson managing to take the reigns as a “centrist”.

But the old guard is pretty much done for. There’s way too much public demand for fighters, and the current leadership are collaborators

I like how the Republicans are painting him as a Communist, when they are the ones supporting Communist regimes. From what i heard from him, he’s a Democratic socialist, that’s pretty much the standard here in Europe. good on NY. If you think about it, not even the Millionaires want to live in the middle of desperate poor people… some has to be given back to society.
