Trump’s first term killed April Fools
Not just with the friends, the same is happening all over Europe. I’ve heard from a first hand source that the US embassy in Finland has already canceled contracts with companies that refused the demand.
Might not take #1 spot, but is definitely up there. A pair of Levi’s jeans that were worn through in 2-3 days.
Especially considering when Russia has been funding neo-nazis all over Europe and Putin has posed as best buddies with a whole bunch of them. Russia loves nazis.
A lot, nobody has wanted to touch them out of fear that it would erode trust in financial institutions of the countries in question. EU has used its interest as collateral for loans to support Ukraine.
I hope every penny gets used to throw the murderers out of Ukraine.
US gives significantly less per capita than almost all western European countries, and even less as percentage of GDP. This is not a case of the US being the only one who does something. It’s the US doing so much less than they could, and everyone else in a comparable position is. And now taking even that away.
Oh, it is for sure more likely.
Or the picture is a statement for why artists shouldn’t be replaced either. Who can tell.
For once not a red flag!
This is pretty close to how it works here in Finland, although I’m not sure if it’s based on national or EU legislation. The cost of recycling is baked into the price of any electronics, and as a rule of thumb, you can drop off any small devices to be recycles at stores that sell appliances. When it comes to bigger appliances, the stores only need to take your old one if you’re buying a new one. You can of course also bring them to municipal recycling centers.
One way of taking human sacrifice
Indeed. My girlfriend lives there, last time I was over we went to the big demonstration against mass tourism. I felt a bit sick at the airport listening to all the north European pensioners talking about how they rent a place year round for 800€/month just to spend the odd week now and then there. While many locals working in tourism make minimum wage, around 1300€/month I believe.
Live in a country where tipping is practically unheard of. Lately pay terminals have started appearing in restaurants that have asking for tip enabled by default, and restaurants often don’t know how to disable it.
Well, at least there are some safeguards. I was handed the terminal so I put in my PIN code, not realising it was actually asking for a tip. I was pretty confused when it said “value too high” or something like that.
Android user here. It finally happened a couple of months back. I wrote “duck”, autocorrect changed it to “fuck”.
